Shadowplay’s “Visions” release show at Hebe Music, Mt. Holly, N.J.
One of my friends from college is in a rock band called Shadowplay from South Jersey. The band had its CD release show this past Friday at Hebe Music in Mt. Holly, N.J., and vox Andrew Corkery asked me to shoot the gig for them. Here are a few shots; the rest are in the Shadowplay set on my Brandi Lynn Design photostream on Flickr.
You can stay up-to-date with Shadowplay and their music here:
‘Like’ Shadowplay on Facebook | Follow @Shadowplayrock
If you dig them, buy Shadowplay’s album at Monkeybars here. Every time a person shares their purchase on Facebook, $4 gets donated to the band. Keep local, independent music alive!

Creative Allies: Foxy Shazam “Holy Touch” T-Shirt Design
I submitted a design for Foxy Shazam’s new T-Shirt for the band’s new single “Holy Touch.” My concept was to capture their rock and roll essence (hence the grey rock devil horns), while incorporating church with the stained-glass window. Feel free to vote for my design if you like it, by clicking the image below, and please share it with others. Hopefully I’ll win the $500.

Spectrum Culture: Concert Review: The Darkness (photo credit)
A few days after my Darkness adventure, Spectrum Culture contacted me through my flickr, and asked to use one of my Darkness photos for their concert review. I agreed, and they gave me photo credit and a link-back to my website here. Check it out below!

The Darkness, Foxy Shazam, Crown Jewel Defense, 9:30 Club, Washington D.C.
I recently saw The Darkness in Washington D.C., and I was following them along the east coast for its North American tour. Here are the photos from the Washington D.C. stop at 9:30 Club.
Last night of the east coast also called for waiting for the band outside the venue after the show. I got another lovely photograph with Justin!

The Deli Magazine: Mad Decent Block Party 2011 photo recap, The Piazza, Philly
I had the opportunity to cover the Mad Decent Block Party 2011, Philly style, for my internship with The Deli Magazine. It was a wild, wild afternoon, and I loved every bit of it (minus a few water gun shots to the camera and lens).
Below is a little blurb and a photo. If you click on the piece, it will redirect you to the photo recap of the event on The Deli’s website.
Here are some other favorites I took from the block party:

The Deli Magazine: Pink Skull show preview, M-Room, Philly
I just started an internship with The Deli Magazine. It’s a national music magazine that covers local music in major cities. I cover Philadelphia.
Today my first writing was published, which is really exciting for me, because music journalism is my ultimate goal as a career. It was a show preview, which basically just gives listeners a small piece of the pie, but through a visual format. You can click on the screenshot of the article below to take you to the website.

THE BREW, 2/15
THE BREW had a special theme this Tuesday, which is what I like to call “Good Old Stuff.” I took a trip down nostalgia lane, because it is all stuff I enjoy from 4-6 years ago and beyond.
As always, THE BREW houses over 30 different artists every show, and is the home to revel all your musical needs, wants and desires.
